Italian Pasta Salad

I learned this recipe from seeing my college roommate Madisyn make this one time for a potluck. Since then I have making it all the time. It is the perfect potluck dish and it is great for cooking in large quantities. Every batch usually last a couple meals for me. Great for the summer!
Serves: 6 to 8

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
1/2 pound fusilli (spirals) pasta
1 can black olives (sliced)
2 tomatoes (diced)
2 broccoli florets (cut into small pieces)
1/2lb sausages (cut into small pieces)
2 stalks of green onions (chopped into small pieces)
Italian Dressing

Directions:

- Cook the pasta per the directions with a splash of oil to prevent the pasta from sticking together. Drain and cool
- Boil the broccoli for about 7-8 minutes or until to desired softness
- Cook the sausages in a pan
- Add all the ingredients to the pasta
- Pour the dressing over the pasta and mix well
- Can keep for a couple days

Additional tips: You can use whatever you want. Instead of sausage you can add ham, pastrami, etc. Can also add carrots.
