Chocolate Chip Cookies for One

I am not much of a baker since it is really hard to bake for one person. My parents don't eat sweets and I am not a huge sweet person. I just like to have one or two. How am I suppose to finish 38 cookies?! Also baking takes a lot of work. You have to measure everything exactly and do things in a set pattern. My website is call Improvised Cooking for a reason.
Serves: 1- 3 (12 cookies)

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 8-9 minutes

Ingredients:
2 T plus 2 tsp butter at room temperature
2 T brown sugar
2 T granulated sugar
2 T egg, well beaten (beat 1 large egg in a small bowl; then measure out 2 T)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3/8 c flour
scant 1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 c mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F

Using an electric mixture, cream together the sugar and butter.
Add in egg and vanilla
Slowly add in flour, baking soda, and salt while mixing.
Add in chocolate chips.

Drop dough in rounded teaspoons-ful 2 inches apart on a un-greased baking pan
Bake for 8-9 minutes or until the edges are brown.
Take out and place on a cooling rack.

Enjoy with a cup of milk or enjoy later by storage in an air tight container.
