Spring Pasta with Salmon

Starting the new year with a bang! Two new recipes in less than a month! I LOVE pasta salad and wanted to make some different types of pasta salads. Funny this is that my husband loves this more than I do. We have already made it twice!

Garlic- Honey Shrimp by Chrissy Teigen

My husband is out of town. He is usually the cook so I had to fend for myself. It has been a while since I have tried a new recipe. I borrowed Chrissy Teigen's Cravings Hungry for More from the public library. I love shrimp! This recipe reminds me of orange chicken.

Garlic Parmesan Roasted Shrimp

It has been a bit since I have posted. Since my last post, I have moved down from Sacramento to the Bay Area to start my new job soon. Now, every other night I am in charge of dinner. I don't really cook a lot of meat but my husband wants some kind of protein tonight for dinner. I love shrimp so I made this. I wanted to make something light and simple. This is similar to another dish (baked garlic shrimp) I really like but this is a bit less greasy.

Salmon Onigiri

I had some delicious salmon rice balls once in the Bay Area. How hard is it to make rice balls?

Baked Garlic Shrimp

A healthier and easier version of a previous recipe I tried, Garlicky Baked Shrimp. This time I tweeked the recipe to my liking instead of following the recipe to a tee. I made it healthier easier without cutting out the delicious factor.

Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp

About 1.5 years ago I went to Hawaii with my friend Connie. I knew we were going to have a lot of shrimp. We paid 12 bucks for our own lunch box. I was like WTF! 12 bucks for this?! I can totally make this. My friend didn't believe me (She's not a cook). I preceded to ask the cook how she made the famous Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp. Pretty much exactly how I make mine except mine is healthier!

Steamed Mussels with Tomato-and-Garlic Broth

Me: Do you guys have mussels?
Guy behind the seafood counter: Why yes we do. (flex) No we don't today. Come back tomorrow.

We ended up going to another store.
