Yield: 1 cup
Cook time: 2-3 minutes
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons dark brown sugar, optional*
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup olive oil
Place everything in a bowl or a container with a lid. Whisk or shake! Easy!
I enjoyed it over a bed of mix greens with goat cheese, strawberries, avocados, and raisins. Most restaurants I've noticed added a type of nut in there too.
