Vodka Penne

My friends and I made this after a day of kickboxing and hardcore studying. It was so good and tasty I decided to make it myself!
Serves: 6

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 quart Simple Tomato Sauce, recipe follows, or actually any can tomatoes (whole, crushed, diced) (Depends on preference)
- 1 cup vodka
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, at room temperature
- 1 pound penne
- 5 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil/vegetable oil/butter (depends on preference) 
- Salt (to taste)

Direction:

Cook penne by the directions. Drain and place off to the side.
In a deep pan on medium high heat, cook garlic in oil/butter for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato sauce/tomatoes. Bring to a simmer, add the heavy cream, and bring to a simmer. Add in the vodka and bring to a simmer. Add some salt to taste. Simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Pour over penne, top with your favorite cheese, and enjoy!
