Kung Pao Squid

I love non-fried squid!
Serves: 2

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
2 lbs of squid, cleaned and cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon of oil
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
chill peppers (optional)

Directions:
The entire squid is not edible so it is important to clean and dissect the squid properly. Here is a video you can watch if you don't know how. I use another method but the one in the video seemingly is the way most people do it. Also, scoring the body is not necessary but more for aesthetic presentation. You may cut the squid into whatever size you want not just the typical rings which is used in calamari.

Once you have done that, steam the squid for about 5 minutes or until the opaque.

In a pan, on medium heat, add oil and garlic. After half a minute, add squid with the soy sauce and white vinegar. Stir and serve. Enjoy!
