Cold Oats




This cold breakfast is not only healthy but also fills you up. The chia seed pudding doesn't have any carbohydrates but this does so it will have you full for a longer period of time. I like this because you can customize it however you like. 



Serves: 1 

Prep Time: 5 minutes 

Cook Time: 6 hours

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of oats 
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 3/4 cup of diary (milk, almond, soy, etc) 
- Optional: 1 tsp sugar (brown/white), honey,  or cut fruit 

Directions
I used a mason jar (16oz). Pour all your ingredients in the mason jar. I usually add some sugar or honey and then some cut fruit. Place in fridge for 6 hours or overnight before enjoying. 

Tips: What I like about this recipe is that you can add whatever you like. I have seen bananas and peanut butter, or adding nuts. We usually do cut up fruit. Also this ratio of liquid and oats is flexible. We don't like it too soupy so this ratio works for us but you can play with it to see what texture you like.
