Scallion Meatballs
Serves: 2-4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
4 large or 6 small scallions, finely chopped
Half bunch cilantro, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup) (the cilantro-averse can use flat-leaf parsley)
1 large egg
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Freshly ground black pepper
Vegetable oil
Directions:
Using a fork mix all the ingredients except the oil in a large bowl.
Using your hands roll the mixture into small balls.
Cook in an oiled medium-heat pan.
Work in batches.
8 minutes per batches
The recipe I followed also had a sauce but I didn't make it because the meatballs were already really flavorful. Well my friend used ketchup with ours.
